According to records: “The name “Con Market” dates back to the 1940s, because the market is located on a high dune in the middle of the city, so the locals used to call it by name. Con Market is not just an important shopping space of Da Nang. It also imprinted in the hearts of the people of Quang land ”, Con Market still plays an indispensable role in the daily life of the people of Da Nang city.
The renovation idea is a refinement with great expectation of Historical, Cultural and Architectural details from the past to the present to bring a new image Modern, Dynamic and especially more Effective for Con Market but not losing the inherent nature of traditional market area that has been becoming a symbol of a sustainable city.
